Nikor were grand in their day but they have been dead for what, 30 years? Argh! Kindermann and Hewes (aka, "King Concepts") are the only way to go. The Hewes 35mm reels are deathless and the Kindermann reels nearly as good. For 127, go with Kindermann. For 120, I haven't a clue as to why anyone would use anything other than Hewes. Magnificent reels and exceedingly easy to use.

Sure, I still have some platic reels -- I even have my original Yankee plastic tank and reel from 1961. But, when I get serious, it is Kindermann tanks and Hewes reels. Nothing else comes close.
