It's like an archeological find - photography in Pompeii.
The Rolleikin is quite the bonus.

So this one is thus part of first block. How unusual is the Rolleikin
attached? Its all there, even the roll of Kodachrome. The only thing
nonstandard is the cardboard mask oiver the viewscreen.

The hood logo is unusual, a stylised "F&H in a roundel.
Where do I look for other #s?
Early Rolleicords were not separatedly numbered
but relied upon the serial number of the taking lens.
3.5/7.5cm CZJ Triotar 1964197 is part of a block
of 20,000 (that's right: TWENTY thousand) such
lenses manufactured to a design dated 24 MAY 1935
and completed on 1 DEC 1936. (This was not the
only block of Triotar lenses from which the
taking lenses for the Rolleicord II were taken.)
There were two production blocks of Rolleicord II cameras.
The first was produced between MAR 1936 and AUG
1937 and consisted of 30,542 cameras. These
cameras used 28.5mm push-on filters and lens hoods.
The second block was made between JUN 1937 and
JAN 1938 and consisted of 14,000 cameras. These
cameras had a Bayonet I fitting on the taking lens mount.
