Jim, those serial numbers correspond to the old system
used from 1966 to 1982 for the original SL
66(#2,900,000 to 2,927,800). The original SL 66
received the new coded serial numbers system from 1982
to 1986.

I think the first number that you sent is for a camera
manufactured at the beginning of '70s and the second
one for a camera manufactured at the ending of the
same decade or starting the'80s.-
