I have received the Club Rollei User Magazine issue 3
in PDF format and I’m waiting for the hard copy. It
has very interesting articles and info. There is a
complete report with a lot of photographs about the
visit Emmanuel Bigler and Dirk-Roger Schmidt did to
the F&H GmbH factory in Braunschweig (Brunswick) on
March 2006. The article about the Rollei SL 66
“Aquamarin” Underwater Camera Housing By Wolfgang
Freihen Part 1 has impressive photographs and very
good info; there also is an anecdote about the Rollei
P11 projector, news from the 2006 Photokina, an
article with some stitched panos taken with the Rollei
Panorama Head and a test about the 2.8C right rotation
axis called “Vario Distagon 50” by Carlos
Freaza(thanks to John Wild for the grammatical style
corrections) and BTW excellent photographs and article
written by the magazine editor Mr John Wild.
The magazine contains other anecdotes and the Forum
has a message written by Ian Parker about his trip to
Alaska with the 3.5F that worked right while the
digital cameras became frozen, however while he was
within the aircraft in London he took images with his
digital camera about other aircraft with fire on its
landing gear (photographs shown in the magazine), Mr
Parker will talk in the Club Rollei about the baby
Rolleiflex 4x4 showing the original prototype and
examples of different models.
There is a Nicole Kidman (beautiful) photograph with a
Rolleiflex 3.5A or MX and a Rolleiflash, an image from
the film “Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus”
(2006)
The magazine is distributed for the members via email
and the hard copy via normal mail, I’d like to
congratulate Mr Wild for the excellent magazine
edition.
I forgot to comment Rainer Heidecke pretty resembles
his grandfather Reinhold Heidecke.-
All the best
Carlos
