Mark, Although I have an adapter, I have never used it because I do not have the 'Lens Control S' unit. I have thought about connecting it via a cable to the lens mount on a 600X camera body, so I can operate the lens from the camera body. That project is still 'all in the mind' because I use my adapted 6x6 roll film back on the Xact so there is no advantage over using a 600X camera complete if I want to use the 6000 lenses. All 6000 lenses should work with the system. The problem will be with the image circle when using 6x6 or 6x4.5 film and camera movements. Vignetting will occur if movements are too large. I think there is a diagram in the large Xact brochure which gives the principle of the spare image circle that is available with the 6000 lenses for various image sizes. It probably depends on which lens is actually used too. To test the principle, why not mount the lens in a piece of thick card or similar and tape it to the front of the Xact (did I really suggest that?) and see at what point the image degrades. However, as I remember you hoped to use a digital back, which will have a smaller sensor size, so I guess that this should not be too much of a problem. You will also have to use a 'Lens Control S', which will operate both the lens and digiback. Have you ever tried the Rollei 6000 lenses on the X act 2 with the optional adapter? If so, what focal lengths are you restricted to. Mark -- Mark A.
