[rollei_list] Re: 2.8/ 8cm Tessar serial number 1939 Prototype

I have enlarged in my computer the 1939 Rolleiflex
Tessar 2.8/8 prototype photograph to check the numbers
I was seeing with my loupe and after to work with PS I
have no doubt, the 1939 prototype has a Carl Zeiss
Jena 2.8/8cm lens serial 2311297; we have three
verified Carl Zeiss Jena 1939 serial numbers: Siu's
2.8A Tessar Jena # 2310969 from 1949/51; 1951 special
2.8A prototype Tessar Jena # 2311331 and the 1939
2.8/8 ready for production prototype Tessar Jena #
2311297; these three numbers correspond to the same
batch from January 1939 that F&H bought from CZ
according Thiele quoted by Marc.   
It means that without speculation there is a direct
relationship between the Tessar lenses that Rollei
bought from Carl Zeiss on 1939 and the 2.8A
manufactured from December 1949 to February 1951, it
also means that the 1939 prototype and the 1949 2.8A
are part of the same project delayed 10 years due to
war and it also means that F&H received this batch in
Braunschweig from Carl Zeiss on 1939 at least in part.
