[rodgersorganusers] favorite christmas music

Hi, several years ago(+25), I had the wonderful opportunity to sit on the =
organ bench at Wannamakers in Philly, next to Keith Chapman! What a =
wonderful talent we have lost. Anyway, he was playing this beautiful =
arrangement of "Bring a Torch". When in my ignorance I asked, WOW what a =
cool arrangement that is, who's music is it and where might I purchase it. =
Well, much to my delight, he turned to me and stated, "Thank you, it's =
mine"! He then proceded to remove the copy from the music rack, in which =
he was making corrections and autographed it and handed it to me. To this =
day, that has been one of the most memorable experiences in my 30+ years =
studying organ. And that piece has remained one of my favorites at =
Christmastime. It has the sound of an extremely difficult piece, but the =
notes just seem to fall under the fingers very easily.
