Hello, list.
I occasionally substitute as organist at my church, and as a 'play by
ear' musician, often transpose psalms and hymns to where I am most
comfortable on the keyboard. This usually puts the music a little too
high or low for the cantors and congregation, but fortunately, I play a
Rodgers 950 with a transposer, which I put to good use, restoring the
music to its original pitch. I have noticed, though, that I don't seem
to be able to capture the transposer settings on the general presets, on
which I set the registrations for each piece of music in the mass. Each
time I hit General Cancel, the transposer is reset. Things can get a
bit awkward if I forget to set the transposer each time it is required.
Does anyone know if there is a way to capture the transposer setting on
the generals?
Thanks!
