[rodgersorgan] Re: Tone Cabinet Placement

Hello Mr Thornton,

                I have a similar arrangement here......a Rodgers model 333
and a model 202 speaker unit....the room is about 20 feet in lenght and 12
feet wide....the speker unit is then approx. 15 feet from the organ
console....I am quite satisfied with the arrangement here...

As for your problem, I would suggest that you remove the
amps. from the speaker unit anf try two "commercial" speaker
cabinets....divided..... one on each side of the room..and powered by the
Rodgers S100 amps.

              I also own a Rodgers 330E....all speakers (six units...51
speakers total) are located in a closet....and speak thru the open
door.....not the best arrangement here.....

speaker cabinets in churchs, cathedrals, etc. and wonder if some of the more
"genious" types out there could give me a clue or two on my installation
(such as it is).
> I play a Rodgers "Trio" 321-A with a single ML-202 tone cabinet. My organ
is place in a small 9' X 12' room against one wall. The tone cabinet is
placed on the left side of the organ approximately 4' away at a right angle
to it. Unfortunately, this tone cabinet sits directly in front of a bay
window and both end speakers are fairly close to adjacent walls. I
personally feel I'm not getting the best benefit from the organ with this
arrangement and would like some suggestions to improve the overall sound
quality (if possible)? There are other restrictions in this room such as two
doorways which limits my options further. Any and all suggestions will be
greatfully accepted. The above arrangement mentioned above is the best I
could come up and still be somewhat functional.
