[rodgersorgan] The Timeline -

 From List member Ian Mc

Recently on this list there was mention of the new Rodgers
Corp website. So, this week I took a look. Certainly far
better than the old. I clicked on "Timeline", which
provides some very interesting history of the company and
its products. In - not one mention of any of their theatre
organs. Not one mention of any of the artists who have
worked there that had anything to do with the theatre
organs!

It is almost like there has been some sort of Maoist
revisionist historical cleansing! My question is, why?

The 340 and its siblings are nothing to be embarrassed
about, even today. The 360, well, it did have issues - if
they had kept it's console authentic, and got the marketing
correct but despite this in many respects it was still a
high quality instrument.
