Listmember Paul Swank emailed me last week and told me to be on the
lookout for a package...
As I test a midi module, it is now accompanied by the gyrations of a 5
piece frog band(!) with flashing disco lights.
The lead singer at the microphone is backed up by a guitarist, a sax
player, a keyboardist and a frog playing a digital drum set!
During Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring they stand silent in reverence during
the triplets, but come alive during the playing of the chorale. I'm not
kidding.
I should also say that the three front men sway from side to side, while
the drummer and keyboardist hop.
Paul, thank you for The Green Machine, The Frog Band!

PS: Ellen is laughing at their behavior during Jesu right now.
PPS: And as a further note....on another list a few month's ago a
southern USA Church of Christ (NO INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC) bride was meeting
with her mother and the woodwind quintet they were hiring to play the
wedding (WELL. IT's OK IF IT IS A WEDDING!) and the oboist suggested
playing Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the mother said, "No, we won't
permit any suggestive music at this wedding." Or some other such drivel.
