[rodgersorgan] Re: SOL


OK, friends, time for clarification/edification...the SOL has been
criticized because only one sound can be used at a time, and the need is for
two (or more?) on each division...but can't you simply put a different sound
on each MIDI piston?  Let's say I want a reed on SW MIDI A, flute on SW MIDI
B, etc...are you telling me the SOL won't do that???  Why not?  Do I really
have to put in a SOL disk containing a particular reed sound, and leave it
in the PR300S the whole time I'm playing that "stop?"  Other MIDI pistons
are rendered inoperable/silent??
