Dan - my 2 cents :)
I think what you are describing is not Reverb - it sounds like the MIDI
notes are "stuck" on - like a cypher - and are not receiving a "Note Off"
messsage. The procedure of holding "General Cancel 0" and momentarily
pushing the "Set" button, on some organs, will send an "all note off"
message, as well as set the MIDI parameters back to factory default. Try
this again.
You may also check the foot switch that is the on Gt/Pedal expression shoe -
it could be stuck on - and that "Sustain" for MIDI voices only works on Gt
MIDI A - so that could be a possibility. Good Luck.

Ed and Tom, thanks for your replies.
The Organ is a Rodgers Model 730. I don't think the problem is the foot
expression pedal because the "unending reverb" does not occur with
normal organ stops. It only occurs when I play a midi instrument on the
great. (Swell and pedals are fine). For example, I played the applause
by putting the sound on the great. It doesn't stop. Only way is to
clear the stops.
I tried pushing set and Midi Great, but I don't see anything about
Reverb on the Transpose Screen. I see Program, and several other
things, but nothing on the Organ LTD.
Is the problem with the PR-300?
Thanks,
-Dan

Dan,
Need to clarify a couple of things. What model organ? When you say you
are play from the PR-300 do you mean this happens during playback? Is
this happening to organ voices or PR-300 sound module voices?
I suspect you are saying that the MIDI voice(s), when selected from MIDI
GT A (and possibly MIDI GT B) have excessive reverb.
Go to the MIDI Menu (hold set and press the MIDI GT A piston), rotate
the select switch (transposer switch) until "Reverb" shows in the
window. I suspect you will see this set at 127 or a very high number.
Reduce the value with the alpha dial until you have the reverb level you
want, and do a MIDI save to that coupler piston so the new value will
not "go away" when the organ is turned off. Repeat this procedure for
MIDI GT B if it also has this problem.
If you have a Trillium instrument, you can press cancel, and while
holding it, momentarily press set, which will default all MIDI couplers
to their initial factory state. This will also return voice palette
selections to their default states.
Regards,
Ed

When I play a sound, let's say Strings, on the Great from the PR-300, I
get reverb that will not stop. I even turned off the reverb on Part 1
on the PR-300 and it still won't stop. Even on the organ, with
Set+Transpose, I turned off the Reverb. The sound won't stop. When I
put the same sound on the Swell, it works just fine.
Anyone ever have a problem like this?
