[rodgersorgan] Re: PR300 and Change Ringing


Re handbell sounds from a PR300/300S...dumbfounded that Rodgers/Roland
included dogs, telephones, and helicopters, also included a couple of dozen
different bell sounds, but no handbells...well, we shall have to make our
own...go through the bell sounds listed in your 300/300S manual, including
crystal, glasses, etc...put one on MIDI A, another on MIDI B, combine them,
audit results...trial and error...I like Tinkle Bell PC 113 Var 0 combined
with Warm Bell PC 39 Var 127.

Re change ringing, make your own...select one or more bell/chime/carillon
sounds, improvise a Westminster/Whittington/St. Michael's series, virtually
random notes in a C major scale, record same on the PR300/300S, use the
repeat function, voila`.
