Tonight is our choir practice, after which I'll be meeting with the wardens and
the pastor. After that, it has to pass through some heritage society of sorts,
since this is a major basilica and a heritage site. St. Patrick's is also a
national landmark, so there's more red tape there too! I can start the wheels
moving until everyone involved says it's okay. It's not a money issue at all,
since we're the mother-church of Montreal's English Catholic diocese. There are
however, things that must be done before work can begin, which is why as of
now, the work I want to do is purely speculative. I've written down a list of
what I'd like done, and will be presenting it to the wardens and pastor tonight.
