I have been a member of this list for sometime now,
and
rarely post, but I have to address this issue of "old
analogs" vs. digitals, because that is really what
this thread is about.
I have a Rodgers 330E drawknob organ in my home. I
can state unequivically that I could blind fold ANYONE
without prior knowledge of the installation and, after
playing it, challenge them whether the organ is pipes,
analog, or digital. I can guarantee that few, if any,
would guess analog or digital.
I purchased my 330E from a Rodgers dealer, with the
express purpose of gutting it and converting it to
digital. I have absolutely NO intentions of doing so
now.
