Get paid up front the all funerals and weddings
       In our area, the funeral homes pay the organist as part of the 
"package" the family of the deceased pays.  Out of $10,000 or so that is costs 
for 
burial costs, etc, churches should be working out something with the funeral 
homes to have the organist and Pastor included - I think the families presume 
that is happening - they can't be thinking of so many details if they are 
grieving!
