[rodgersorgan] Newcomer....

Greetings to all Rodgers Users!  My name is Patrick Lane and I just purchased a 
Rodgers 340 Theater Organ and am very excited about it.   
I live in the Palm Springs area in California (Rancho Mirage actually) and just 
happen to stumble across this wonderful website.  I've had a Hammond Elegante 
for 23 years and it was finally time to get a "real" organ.   

I have never had a large theater style organ before with any, let alone 6 
external speakers, so I'm hoping to get a lot of helpful hints and  
information on "tricks of the trade" so to speak with my 340 for types of 
speakers, speaker placement console colors etc...   

I'm currently trying to decide whether to get new speakers for the organ from 
Walker (128's).  The ones I heard on the organ now sound quite good.  I've 
already decided to use my Velodyne 15-inch home theater subwoofer instead of 
that fridge-size subwoofer which comes with the organ.   

Of course the hardest thing of all is trying to convince my wife that it will 
look great against the wall in the living room!!  This one's going to be a 
challenge.   

I'm looking forward to hearing from some of you and learning many things from 
all of you.
