Hi Stephan:
Welcome to the club of newcomers. I just started recently myself.
And I am struggling with the same problem of working with the PR300S. I am a
back-up
electronic musician at our church and I know how to make music with the aid of
a laptop
computer and my own Roland Sound Canvas 155 sound module.
Now, however, I have the constraint of input-ing my computer generated and
arranged
music via the PR300S only. The constraint is because of 'warranty'
considerations.
I still can't get channel 13 and 16 to work and get the feared message from the
PR300S:
'Can't read data format'. So back I go to the laptop and modify the file, wipe
out the
old one and store the new one to disk and try again.
Can't help you with the Essex 655. We have a 960D 3-manual organ. I ordered the
manuals
for the 960D and the PR300S directly from the Rodgers People for my own use. I
love to
mark thing up. The manuals help and are $25.- and $33.- respectively.
I don't give up easily. I'll continue to make experiments. Let's stay in touch.
