[rodgersorgan] New List Menber

Rules say I have to introduce myself to the list .. soooo ... Howdy.

I've been playing and studying (sporadically) since I was an early
teenager. Seriously planned to be a music/organ major at one point, but
ended up an electrical engineer. I have been engaged by a couple of
churches in the past as organist, but that was quite a long time ago. For
the last 30 years I've been strictly in the amateur category,
entertaining no one in particular but myself. I have come out of hiding
to play a couple of weddings and some other special services as a guest
organist, and also played lunch-hour concerts at a large downtown Chicago
church while studying with the organist there some years ago.

Currently I have a new (old) Rodgers 750BE at home, in the process of
installation. I've had several other analog Rodgers' instruments at one
time or another.

Professionally, I'm the CTO of a telecom/technology consulting company.
Other avocations include ham radio, and collection and restoration of
vintage radio equipment.
