Fellow Organists,

I listen to pipe organs on CD or radio whenever I can.  There are several 
pieces that I'm looking for - or for which I am looking.  I hate to order a 
bunch of books because there is so much overlap.

If you have extra copies you'd like to sell (cheap, please) please let me 
know.  I don't know if that list gives any idea of the kind of music I'd like 
to find.  I'd like a few books of anthologies of organ music.  Regarding my 
ability, I think I do pretty well for someone who's never had organ lessons.

I really like bright, chearful organ pieces, medium pedal parts, slower 
melodic pieces on the order of "Bist Du Bei Mir", as well as Hymn 
arrangements that don't stray too far from their natural harmony.

A few relatives are asking me for my Christmas list.  I'd like to be able to 
give some suggestions.  I need to see what all I can get for $100 (We adults 
draw names, and that's what we agree as our spending limit).

I realize that some of you are very much against copying music, some aren't.  
I guess my conscience got seared years ago when I copied everything I could 
find.  I guess it shows that we've all got our sins: some use 4-letter words, 
some tell dirty stories, some copy CDs, some sleep around.  Chances are, we 
all break the speed limits every day.  Thank God for His grace!
