[rodgersorgan] Re: Midi Files and Smart Media in Trillium

Hi Ralph:
It sounds like you'r trying to have some fun. - I am having fun with arranging
MIDI files on a lap-top computer which has a proper MIDI interface such that
you can 'play' the files from the computer's sequencer directly in to the
organ, the pr300s, and other sound modules. My MIDI interface has four MIDI
ports and thus I have 64 MIDI channels to play into sound modules.
I am also using a Roland Sound Canvas SC-155, the MIDI sliders of which allow
you to have instant volume control over each of the 16 MIDI channels and that,
to boot, on the fly while the organ plays. That SC-155 is worth its money in
gold.
I sometimes feel, I am having more fun than a human being is allowed to have in
making electronic music.
Where in NZ is your Rodgers store located? I know Wellington quite well when I
worked with your Royal NZ Air Force chaps at Shelly Bay.
