[rodgersorgan] Re: MIDI registrations

Thanks for your reply Clay,

I have the 790C manual, but it only has the MIDI Implementation Chart and
not the SYSEX command structure.

Noel sent me a MIDI piece that I could look at and it was quite revealing
but without a magic decoder ring I have no chance of figuring it out.

Here is the first SYSEX bank that is sent to the organ...

F0 41 10 30 12 01 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 10 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 4D F7

After it is sent, the following stops are set

PEDAL = Bourdon 16 + Gedackt 8
SWELL = Bourdon 8 + Flauto Traverso 4
GREAT = Harmonic Flute 8

I really need more information in order to do anything.

You were right though, I can manipulate SYSEX with Cakewalk with no problem.

Thanks,
Robert Brodine

Noel,
Jim Merten would be a welcome utility for the list. However I would point
out that if Robert has Cakewalk as I think he indicated in his message, he
can insert the SYSEX commands using that.

Robert, do you have the manual for 790c? If so, the SYSEX commands should
be listed towards the back for each Manual / Stop. If not, I'm sure someone
with access to a manual can get you the list
