[rodgersorgan] Hello :)

Hello, everyone...

My name is Neil Marsh and I'm on the Music Committee at the First Congregational
Church of Somerville, Massachusetts. I'm so glad to find a list like this!

Our church purchased a Rodgers 835B organ in 2000, along with the PR-300S, and
it's been a great joy to us. We have an old pipe room where the original organ
pipes once stood, so we emptied it out of all the junk of the ages and put the
sound system back there. What an amazing sound! We have a facade of pipes at the
back of the chancel, so people are often fooled into thinking we have a real
pipe organ. :)

Unfortunately, our prior Music Director wasn't an organist, so some of the
features didn't get used very often, especially the PR-300S. Now we're in the
process of hiring a new Director and I've decided to re-educate myself about the
system and want to create several preset stops for MIDI sounds and combined
MIDI/organ sounds. If anyone on the list can help me track down some pre-made
combinations, I would be forever grateful. I'm also looking forward to trying
out some of the MIDI files. I'm so excited to find you folks!
