Maybe I should clarify this. If you are playing PR-300 voices in real time
along with organ voices, then the PR-300 is certainly under expression along
with the organ voices. However, when you are playing along with an
orchestral sequence the dynamic levels for the PR-300 voices are already
programmed into the sequence. Therefore, when playing along with a sequence
the organ's expression should effect organ stops only and not the PR-300.
The volume level on the PR-300 should be set at an appropriate level to
balance the organ. But since changes in dynamics are already programmed into
the sequence the dynamics of the PR-300 voices are greatly exaggerated if
they also respond to the expression shoe. It actually causes the balance
between the organ and PR-300 to get out of whack. Hope my rambling is making
sense here.
