Richard, Is it really dead, or are you just announcing that you are playing
Widor? Can't be the Cortege and
Litany, wrong season.
Seriously, reseat the entire pedalboard with help to get it all in line, then
try wedging up the tail of that
side or the nose of that side with a Reader's Digest. You can adjust the wedge
by opening pages till you get it
right and that might get you by until you can get a tech out.
Other members will undoubtedly have better suggestions, so please chime in.
This reminds me when I used to live in a major city with a resident major
builder, and another 4o miles away.
On Christmas Eve a reed ciphered and the church called me for help...they had
purchased the organ from the 40
mile distant builder, but called the local builder for help...
"Guess you should have bought it from me!" thundered the son of the founder
just before he hung up on them.
I went up and pulled the pipe. We got the Hammond Organ maintenance contract
for the Fellowship Hall Organ from
then on.
