Well, let's see. Most everything went off very well...except for two
things.
Our new Minister of Worship and Arts failed to tell me that the brass was
playing along with me on ALL the hymns. When I went into my alternate and
free accompaniments, things just didn't sound quite right. Fortunately, we
did more than one service, so I told the brass to take a break, and the
minister to take a hike! Actually, I told him not to do that again unless
hetells me.
The other thing that stood out for me was the services were too much of a
show. Out church has a history of having great choirs and fantastic
intruments, but this year is was too much of them and not enough
congregational participation. Our new minister of worship and Arts is
learning. Next year I'm sure it'll be better.
Other than that, it was fun opening the organ full throttle, and using the
surprising resources of the PR-300S.
