Randall tells of a snafu that impacts his income and his dealings with a
pastor.
Maybe it was an inadvertent misunderstanding, maybe not...I'd let bygones be
bygones...charge them only for the wedding...in the future, write up a
little "minutes of the meeting" to confirm everything and send copies to the
bride, groom, pastor, et al...followup with a phone call to re-confirm a
week or so before the event(s).  Some organists prepare a "contract"
covering assorted details, signed by bride and groom, carbon copy to pastor.
Some organists specify payment in advance, and it's part of the minutes or
contract.  'nuff said.
