[rodgersorganusers] Re: Analog

My adversion to soldering irons comes from having been involved with
digital organs since 1977...and having doctored a number of them to get
improved effects....and then trying to put them back....and then having
any problems with the intruments blamed upon my soldering.

Life it so much nicer when one gets to deal with an undoctored
instrument...gives a better sleep at nights.

I have enjoyed this conversation, and there are analogs out there that I
have enjoyed playing.

We have gone from a world of instruments with small tonal resources to
one of great tonal resources.

I once performed (for TV!) the Messiah on a two manual 15rk tracker that
had no expression. It was fun. but a lot of work.

Who has experienced the new Rodgers tracker keyboards? I am still
waiting for a replacement set for an organ that was purchased prior to
their availability.
