Noel, I can relate to your frustrations.   Why do certain people even get on 
committees?  People with prejudices that influence decisions, but they aren't 
even good decisions.   It happens a lot!                  
      You need to congratulate yourself that you noticed what was wrong with 
the acoustics in that room.  You are a specialized professional.
       Personally, when I heard Felix Hell play here, I thought, although he 
was note perfect and increcibly talented,  his performance here was lacking 
in emotion, it was cut and dry... here it is....    I know it wasn't the 
organ, because I have heard someone else make that same organ really sing.
