Following is Status Report #3 for the Army MARS Radio Enterprise System:
1. Region 1.
A. No Change
2. Region 2.
A. If required ECON net will be operated either from Manalapan Township
CERT
HQS or ATT7T Lab emergency Communications Center, Middletown NJ.
3. Region 3.
A. Delaware National Guard (DENG). Army MARS requested to inspect radio
equipment at AAR3NNA (DENG JTF HQS) Friday 26 August 2011 and will remain on
alert if need to support JFT with Army MARS personnel.
B. Maryland Emergency Management Agency is now on full activation. MA/DE
Army MARS ready to provide personnel to support.
C. AAT3KV is providing communications support to RED CROSS in Fredricksburg,
VA.
D. State of Virginia has declared a state of emergency. Not requested
support
from Army MARS as yet.
E. PA Emergency Manage Agency. Awaiting decision on Army MARS support.
4. Region 4.
A. Two Army MARS ECOM nets scheduled to operat 252359Z Aug 2011 until
280400Z
Aug 2011.
B. North Carolina ECOM Net (A4H) will be establish on order of AAA4NC or
AAM4ENC.
C. Region 4 Army MARS Command Net will be operational (Free Status until
situational requirements require activation.
D. Radio contact with AAA9EC (Army MARS National Emergency Coordinator).
5. TSA
A. AAN4MCO (Orlando, FL) radio contact and check-in with AAA9USA
