There are no major changes currently planned for Recoll, because there does
not seem to be much user demand for new functions which would require such
changes.
I have a vague intention to clean up the program's internal interfaces, and
make these available to Python, which in turn might open new possibilities
for using Recoll. But I'm not working very actively on this at the moment.
There should be a minor release in the following weeks, fixing a few small
bugs and system-specific compilation issues.
I am very eager to hear from users, they are in the best place to see how
Recoll could be made more useful or more easy to use. Don't hesitate, speak
up !
Regards,
jf
