Hello,

First, I thank you for sharing you work with us.

I have successfully built "Recoll (1.11.0)" on "Slackware GNU/Linux (12.0)".

Slackware-12.0 provides the following dependencies :

              QT - 3.3.8
 Infozip (unzip) - 5.52
 Xpdf (pstotext) - 3.02pl2
   teTeX (dvips) - 3.0

I had to build the following dependencies :

     xapian-core - 1.0.8
        antiword - 0.37
          catdoc - 0.94.2
           unrtf - 0.20.5
           untex - 1.2
       DjVuLibre - 3.5.20
id3lib (id3info) - 3.8.3
   Perl Exiftool - 7.31

Slackware provides a package which installs Linux HOWTOs et FAQs from
"www.tldp.org" into "/usr/doc". I use Recoll to find information into
all that documentation.

And I also use Recoll to easily find information into PDF, HTML and TXT
files collected through Internet over the years.

Recoll is really useful to me. Thank you again for sharing it.

Cordially,

Michaël
