Only way to do this is by using a tool like partitioon magic, which does not work (as of ver 8.10) work with vista. When you reinstall the OS you can remove all partitions and then have a single chunk for storage. You'll be ok since you've created dvd's of the recovery partition. If you still want to repartition, look for vista compatible partitioning programs. I've used the partition magic and it does work in some ways, however I just used it to repartition external media, I wouldn't trust it with my main OS drive unless it was working 100%.
