[real-eyes] Re: tables in Ms word

Kayla,

We do this a lot in our alternate text production. Here's the steps we use:

1) Move so that your in the table, somewhere, it doesn't reallly matter where.

2) Press ALT+A to open the Table Menu.

3) Move to the Select option (or press C).

4) Select Table from this menu.

5) Press ALT+A for the Table Menu again

6) Select Convert or press V

7) Select Table to Text. You can probably use the defaults, but I'd make sure
that the cells are broken by paragraph breaks so that each cell is on a
separate line and there is a blank line between the rows of the table.

8) Activate the OK button and the table will be converted.

Keep in mind that this process works best for a table that has a logical flow
of across a row rather than down a column. If the table should be read down a
column rather than across the row, something else will need to be done.

If this doesn't give you the results you want, let me know.

Hello all:
I have encountered a table in word and wish to know if there is any way to undo
this so that I can read it normally?
thanks,
Kayla
