I'll go give this a try. I really like the fact that Apple has tried their very best to make itunes more accessible to the visually impaired, but in the process of making it more accessible, they have made it very time consuming to do certain tasks. I also noticed that JAWS misreads some of the menu options when you are tabbing around in the device section of itunes. Go figure! First, you will want to go to the iPhone device. After that, you will be using the tab key quite a bit (haven't found an easier way to get around this). The first time you will push tab, JAWS will say "Button Summery Radio Button Checked". Ignore the fact that JAWS refers to this as a radio button, because it is not a radio button. It is a menu in a tab. There are 9 menu tabs: Summary, Info, Apps, Ringtones, etc. When JAWS tells you that the radio button is checked for any of those "tabs" then the optio ns for that tab is visible underneath the list of tabs (visually). The only way to get to those options are to tab through the whole list of tabs. I haven't figured out how to bipass this process. To turn off automatic syncing of contacts, make sure that you are on the Info tab and that JAWS reads "Button Info Radio Button Checked". If it is not checked, just press space to show the options for that tabbed menu. It won't tell you that the button is checked. Tab around until you here JAWS say "Sync Contacts With Checkbox Checked" and press spacebar to uncheck it. This is an actual checkbox. If you would like to sync your contacts, just press tab again and select which type of email client you would like to sync with your phone. You can also unsync calendars by tabbing once again. I don't think you have to press an ok button or anything to save your changes. I hope this helps. I know it is very confusing; it is too me still! Thanks.
