This is probably from a program called Winfax for sending and receiving
faxes. You may be able to right click on it in the system tray and tell it
not to load at start up or, you may just want to uninstall it from add
remove programs entirely.

what is net support manager 8? I sometimes get net support client on my
task bar if have to reboot for problem and I can't get rid of it. The only
things marked available in the menu are request help and call control. wants
me to put in my name and control to hook up to or something. no other drop
down except help, which is usually never any help to me. I rebooted again
correctly from the start menu and it is still there. When it does go away
i'm never sure how. I can't even left click on the close box to get rid of
it.
