Well, not sure because I don't have a touch. It should give you the option
to disconnect from the network. When you try to reconnect you get to put in
the key again.

Hi Reg,
There is a good chance I may not have the Wep key entered in correctly.
I just got the unit on Friday and I did the connectivity about an hour
after I got home with the unit. . .
Question: How do I delete a connection and start over? I want it to
recognize my router, I just want to start over with regard to entering
data.

Hi Kim,
It sounds like you are on the network but, the key is wrong. When that
happens it never gives an error, it just won't let you access anything.
So, two things. If you have digital phone find a pencil and reset your
modem for 30 seconds. It's on the back next to where the cable hooks
in. Then reattach your router. If you disconnect from the network,
then reconnect, then put in the key again and it still won't work, then
I would change the router to WPA with an easy password. A lot of newer
devices don't seem to like WEP as well for some reason. You can log
directly into the router if you no it's IP address and change your
security settings. You can also get the default gateway address under
support in your network connection status page and figure it out. If
you need more help write me privately and, I will try.

Question to the list: I just got an Ipod Touch on Friday. It connected
up just fine at the store, but connecting at home has been a nightmare.
I entered my Wep key; it says it's connected, but I can't actually get
on the Internet. Apple says it's the router; Time Warner says it's some
type of setting on the Ipod. So they're placing the responsibility with
the opposite party and nothing gets accomplished. Any suggestions as to
what I should try next?
