Also works if you add your other E-mail address to the address book. No need
to change identities. If the name you enter has an address associated with
it, Outlook is quite happy.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Unless she has an e-mail address associated
with Message of Hope Ministries, when she types it into the From field, she
will get an error message. If she has an e-mail address associated with the
ministry, it would probably be easier to switch identities and and send from
the appropriate account that way.

On 03, shows Alt+R as a hot key. Maybe it is complaining because you did not
enter a valid E-mail address. If you have a name associated in the
addressbook, it can look up on that, but if there is no name in the addy, it
may just reject anything that doesn't match and isn't a viable address
format. Can't test this right now; am speculating.

I tried that with Outlook 2010, but it wouldn't let me change it. When I
put in my name instead of my e-mail address, it said it couldn't be found
and wanted to search my contact's list for a correct address. I also had to
use the JAWS cursor to even get into that field.
Maybe it will work better in 2003, but not real promising in 2010.

Go under the view menu. There is an option for From Field. That should allow
you to back tab to the from field and change the address there.
Probably only get this menu option if you have first started a new message

My sighted colleague can use the mouse to enter the "from" field and change
its text. Not sure how she's doing this or if there is a non-mouse
equivalent. That's what I'm attempting to find out.

Changing the fieldnames or their contents? The fieldnames themselves are
static--if that is what you are wanting to change.
