Dear Friends,
First Steps for the Blind is having an E mail auction to raise money for
adaptive equipment and other expenses. We have some wonderful things for you
to bid upon, just in time for Christmas. Each day I will put something up for
you to bid upon and each hour I will let the people who have expressed an
interest know what the highest bid is so that they can decide if they would
like to go higher. The item or items will be available until 8:00 p.m. for
those who work. At that time I will announce the highest bid. I know this
sounds like some kind of shady deal but it is totally on the up and up. I hope
you will forward it to your other K.C. friends so that we can maximize our
efforts. I'll list a few of the prizes to show you the value of some of the
things we have. We are getting more in each day.
