Hello to the list. I am not typing this message, I am dictating it using
Windows Vista speech recognition and system access. As I speak, each phrase is
being echoed back with 100% accuracy through my headphones. Jaws or window
eyes do not currently work a withWindows vista speech recognition. I can say
stop listening or start listening at any time. The training process was 100%
accessible. It was as if I have spent hundreds of dollars on dragon, but I
have not. There is a learning process to correct errors, but it is completely
accessible. I have not yet tried to pick to fix any errors that may appear in
this message. As I continue to speak, each phrase is being echoed back with
100% accuracy. I have successfully used in the correction dialogue in
Microsoft word, and it speaks very well.
When I was training the computer, each phrase that I needed to read a was
announced by system access. It was exactly like using Dragon and J say.
In the speech recognition options, there are more training modules that I can
use, so that the computer will understand me better. There are a few dictation
errors in this message, but not very many. Bye for now.
