There is a file and settings transfer wizard built into Windows 7 and XP
that can be used to transfer all that stuff. Maybe someone else has used it
more recently than I have. I wonder if it's gotten any better. I know it
can work.

Subject: [real-eyes] Saving and Transferring Emails and Favorites

Hi all! I'm planning to get a new computer this week. However, I have tons
of email messages in several personal folders, and I don't want to lose
them. Is there a way I can save them and put them on my external hard drive
and move them onto my new computer? What about my favorites from Internet
Explorer? I don't want to lose those either. Thanks in advance!
With a smile,
Karen
