With the new Learning Ally codes, you no longer have to enter the PIN each
time. Man am I glad they fixed that.

Unfortunately That is how it works for all of the 3rd party players. Then
they send you the K.X.O. file and you just copy it to the route of the SD
card. It's even worse with the Learning Ally key because you have to put in
a pin every time you turn on the player.

Are all the player activations as convoluted as that for the BookSense? This
is going to take days (already has), first request activation on BARD,
E-mail is sent to Wolfner to verify I am an authorized user, then E-mail
from them to manufacturer, and finally manufacture contacts me for still
more info. If this is the way it is for all players, then so be it. It is
still convoluted and too many unnecessary steps, but if this isn't how it
works for all players, then BookSense needs to get their sh_t together.
