[real-eyes] Issues with a my book 2 TB external harddrive from Newegg

Hi all,
I have had this problem happen to me twice now and I'm wondering if it's my 
problem or not.
I have windows vista 32 bit system, and a mybook essential 2 TB external 
harddrive from Newegg.  I have had two drives now and this very same thing 
seems to happen.  The file systems have both been ntfs and I haven't 
reformatted them.
The first ten gigs of data move successfuly.  But after this, the drive comes 
up with an "unexpected i/OS error."  What is this and how can I fix it?
