Jose,

You will first want to make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes
or you probably won't be notified of the update for your iPod. The latest
version of iTunes is 10.2.1. If you have this version all you should need
to do is plug in your iPod and it will prompt you about the new update for
your iPod and then you just go through the steps that follow. I strongly
suggest that you make sure that iTunes does it's update separately before
updating your iPod. Once I did both at the same time and had to recover my
iPod and even then voice over wouldn't talk. I got it working again but it
was a scary experience.

Thanks,
Jim

Subject: [real-eyes] How do I update my I Pod, and review of moble to me
device finder.

I need step by step instructions on how to update my i pod touch. I already
have installed i tunes on my pc.
also while looking around on i tunes I found this thing called mobile me
find my i pod touch.

You can get to it on your I device by going to settings, mail and contacts,

and then to add a new account. you will see mobile to me as a button, double

tap it and follow the prompts. it would of taken me about 1 minute to
install it, however just for grins I read the ULA.
what it does and why you might want it.

Just as the name says, it will help you find the approximate locassion of
the I device. it works with the I pod and I phone, didn't see the I pad on

the list.

In any case it's real simple to install, and best of all it's free.

Just note that apple and it's other companies can see where your i device
is too.

However even with out the mobile to me installed, Big Brother can find your

device if they want to.

This is just a way that u can find it yourself. Note that the mobile to me
site will show your device on a map, so you will need sited help to see
where the device is. this is not intended as an emergency locater service.

However I bet there is an app for that on the I store.
ttyl.
