There is software out there that can tell you if the hard drive supports monitoring. It's called smart something or other. Unfortunately the ones I played with were very graphical and not speech friendly, so I can't remember the name of it. I know it would do CPU temperature but, I'm not sure about hard drive temp. It would tell you if the hard drive was starting to fail. ----- Original Message ----- From: "& Ruthie" <chaosynchronous@xxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 09, 2008 7:37 PM Subject: [real-eyes] Re: Hard Drive Temperature >I know it's not running hot...I just bought a cooling pad for it...it's my >laptop...I'm just curious to see what temp it actually is running. > Ruthie & > > Why do tourists go to the top of tall buildings and then put money in > telescopes so they can see things on the ground in close-up? > > "We are more than the sum of our parts." > Private mail is *always* welcome. > > >MSN Messenger ID: clark.ruthie@xxxxxxxxx > Yahoo ID: chaosynchronous > AOL ID: > chaosynchronous > > We are the few, > Who speak for the many, > Who cannot speak for themselves.
