[real-eyes] Re: An external drive problem.

Try plugging it into a different port with the drive turned on and the 
computer up.  It's possible it's in device mangler as an unknown device. 
Let me know if you get an error.

Hi!  I got an external drive for Christmas which I have plugged in to my USB 
port.  Everything was going fine until a couple of weeks ago when I had left 
it on and during the start up process on my PC, I accidentally turned it 
off.  I didn't think that would matter, but now when I turn it on, it will 
make the usual noise telling me that it is on, but the drive letter itself 
does not come up in the list in My Computer.  So, I can't access it.  My Zen 
Stone player is working fine, and it shows up in My Computer when I plug it 
into my USB, but my other external drive is not recognized at all.  It sure 
would be a bummer if I lost everything on there.  Is there anything I can do 
about this?
