I am not sure if we have ever really met. I know the name. He was one of the original founders of IVR [Intermountain Vintage Racing] long before I became involved in the club. Being the lazy old man that I am I have never gotten around to having the listing for IVR removed from Vintage Motorsport Magazine. He saw the listing and called me about the club. He works for Miller on the Mustang Experience ??? Stop by the museum building and say hello to him sometime. Paul, Interesting name you brought up, Ray Canafax. Do you know him? He worked here at Questar for about 9 months accross the hall from me. We had a great time talking about cars. I think he had an Austin Healy 3000 at the time, and I of course had a Mercury Villager Mini Van!! Actually I had an 84 Toyota Supra back then (I put 265,000 mile on that car, great car) What does he do for Miller? I just received a call from Ray Canafax [spelling] of Miller. He had a question for me about the old IVR club. While I was on the phone with him I asked about the Ferrari Challenge weekend and he does believe that they will be moving in on Thursday and some maybe even earlier. Yeehaw. ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Wells<mailto:mcwellsphoto@xxxxxxxxx> To: ratpack@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:ratpack@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 29, 2010 8:59 AM Subject: [ratpack] Re: OT: just when you thought you'd seen everything.... Being the curious type that I am I googled the Ferrari 599XX and this is what I found, http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/geneva-2009-ferrari-599xx Take a look, it's a very pretty car. I won't be able to make the Friday track day but I've already told my wife I will be at the track both Saturday and Sunday, to worship at the alter of Enzo Ferrari. I was out on the Ferrari Challenge website this morning and Paul, you were right, they do have Fri scheduled. Not only that, I looked at the Homestead event schedule and Fri is not just for unpacking the cars, it is a full track day, or it was at Homestead. Also, they have listed the 599XX and the FXX cars were at Homestead, so we may get to see the brand new 599XX car. It looks like they are using only the East course. Thank heaven it not the West course.
