Larr: An f/1.4! Wow! Ooo a in't we getting faw ncy! I can see it now. Pretty soon, yo u won't even speak to the rest of us ratpackers. As for the pup...obviously, he has good taste, chewing on a Nikon strap. You want to do him a real favor, put a C anon in the middle of his housebreaking pad! hee hee C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Knight" <carpixguy@xxxxxxxxx> To: ratpack@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, April 13, 2012 3:54:57 PM Subject: [ratpack] Re: Fwd: Photographer in California with dogs Ok, I am not as good at dog shots as that guy, but I did just shoot the attached one this week. We got a new puppy at our house (Muffles). He is a cocker spaniel. I shot this while he was biting my stap on my camera. So, does this mean he hates Nikon, or he likes it so much he is trying to pull it away from me? I'll listen to all of your opinions on that question, but I value Carls the most (tee hee). I shot the second one with my christmas present to myself, a 50 mm 1.4 lens. At 1.4 the depth of field is VERY short, but it makes for a cool effect. These were ice bubbles on our trampoline last night after it snowed, melted a little and froze.
