Actually, here you go -> http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/upgrading.html

Although Matthew sounds a bit harsh, I agree with him :)

May I suggest a link to a "how to upgrade MySQL" somewhere in the readme or
setup screen. Not necessarily one that the devs spend time writing. And yes,
people can do a search, but it would just be nice.

Just my opinion and I personally don't care about triggers but at this point
5.1 has been out for quite a while. These stragglers should not hold up the
progress of this project because someone does not keep with the upgrades in
their network. If they really want to stay on an older version of MySQL
because of whatever reason's they have, they're also less likely to want to
upgrade to the latest version of RackTables. If it's that important to them to
have the latest RackTables, they should make a way to upgrade their MySQL.

Hello, list.

One of the next major releases of RackTables is going to use SQL triggers,
which require the version of MySQL server to be at least 5.1.6. To find it out,
if it is safe to introduce this dependency in 0.20.0 release, it is important
to know, that all current installations of RackTables use a recent version of
MySQL or have a simple way of upgrading beforehand. That is, if anyone is using
an older version of MySQL for RackTables, please state this (and the time you
would need to finish the upgrade, if possible) in a reply to either this list
or devteam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:devteam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, whichever seems more
appropriate for you. Thank you!

P.S. Neither me nor people I work with are the driving force behind the
triggers.
